Happy New Year on behalf of the NELFA Board :-). NELFA will soon send new information concerning our AGM in Helsinki from 8-10 March 2019. And save another date: Our NELFA Rainbow Families Conference weekend will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, from 10-12 May 2019 – now confirmed!
Recently, we had contact to a researcher of University of Alabama. It is Jamie Campbell Naidoo and he is working on a comprehensive overview of children’s books about rainbow families all over the world and in any language. And besides this: NELFA will have a meeting (next week on 17th of January) with the EU Commission, team Jourová, to raise awareness of our cross-border problems and the general struggles of LGBTIQ* parents (to-be) and their children. On this occasion, we will be able to publish a first NELFA scientific report (on the Coman case), written by our individual member Alina Tryfonidou.
