News from NELFA:
‘We are very pleased to annouce that NELFA has a new full member: Transgender Europe (TGEU). WELCOME IN OUR NETWORK!!! Recently, the NELFA Board decided on the application. Now, we will have the possibility to strengthen our existing cooperation (As you know, NELFA is already member of TGEU!).
Perhaps, we will find new partners, especially in Eastern Europe? NELFA took part in ILGA-Europe’s Annual Conference in Warsaw and we met a lot of Rainbow Family activists who are interested in getting involved, possibly as supporting or full members. NELFA took part in a discussion concerning “surrogacy” (i.a. with delegates of ILGA-Portugal and Sateenkaariperheet, Finland) and provided a successful workshop on “freedom of movement” with strong messages of COFACE Families Europe, the EP Intergroup on LGBTI Rights and lawyer Alexander Schuster. Don’t forget: NELFA’s next Annual General Meeting will take place in Lisbon on 17 March 2018! And one day before, on 16 March, we will organise the next NELFA conference, together with our wonderful host member organisation ILGA-Portugal!’
